Bon jour,

Could you help me?
I had just instaled the freetrack.
My system is: Toshiba Satellite laptop, dual core 2GHz, 2Gb memory, 200Gb hard disk, windows Vista Home premium.
Automatic updates from MS, directX 10 installed.
FSX instaled.

After installed, I choosed my webcam Creative Live IM Pro (WFM).
Just after this choice, the system calls window: "Acess violation at address 004933A6 in module "FreeTrack.exe'. Rea of address 0000000048."

I can not do anything after this alert. Not even close the FreeTrack.
It must be closed by task manager, close application.

Can you help me there? Merci beaucop!

Hi,

Try to install lasted directx 9 for windows Vista (Freetrack use directx 9 only)

You can install directx 9 and 10 in windows Vista, because directx 9 is used for compatibility by Vista (Directx 9 is already included but a newver verson exist)

You can find it in our site !

Try this !

(WFM) ?    WDM or VFW ?

Freetrack work better with WDM driver !
Try to use an another webcam driver in WDM !

I have the same problem in VFW driver when my webcam is not correctly installed ....
So i think it's a Webcam driver problem !

I use a WDM driver (in windows XP SP2) and it Work perfectly .....

in last :
Have you tryed with freetrack v1.1 ?

Good luck

Nice post Babasior.

Freetrack does not support VFW, you must have WDM drivers, or equivalently, a wrapper that converts VFW into WDM.

salut...

j'ai la solution... j'ai eu le meme problème...

you simply have to right-click on the executable of freetrack (note: the shortcut on your desktop will work the same)

then select "Execute as an administrator", et voilà... ca marche bien (il devrait).

excusez moi pour my anglo-french... i'm not francais and i'm not english...

ciao ciao

note: je crois que ce soit la juste solution... don't hate me si sa ne fonctionne...

si tu vois que ce la ne marche pas : ( , try to install DirectX 9.0...

Merci beaoucop. Worked perfectly after changing the application to run as administrator. Thank you.
